Nun, etwas ausführlicher...
Da die Entwicklung des offiziellen Clients doch ziemlich weit fortgeschritten ist und selten Releases und noch seltener (sinnvolle) neue Features kommen und zudem der Client wegen vieler, unnötiger und teilweise irreführender Einstellungsmöglichkeiten für 08/15 User kaum verwendbar ist, dachten wir uns: "Machen wir doch unseren eigenen Client."
Der erste Punkt war zunächst jeglichen Server-Support rauszuwerfen - warum es dann noch "ed2k Loader" heißt? Zum einen ist das erstmal ein Arbeitstitel und zum anderen um den Bezug zum Ursprung zu verdeutlichen. Wir haben die GUI ordentlich aufgeräumt, Fehler behoben und alle - unserer Meinung nach - unnützen Optionen entfernt und sinnvolle Standardsettings eingerichtet. Kombiniert mit vielen Features (IntelliFlush, ClientAnalyzer Antileecher, AntiFake System, Autoupdate, ...) dürfte der ed2k Loader der am einfachsten zu bedienende (noch-)eMule-basierte Client sein.
Bevor wir das Teil auf die Öffentlichkeit loslassen, möchten wir es aber gerne testen lassen. Wer Interesse hat möge sich hier melden und bekommt dann erstmal einen Test-Client via PN.
Ein Release hängt davon ab, ob bzw. wie viele Fehler gefunden werden
