ed2k Loader Beta

have copied the ed2kLoaderBeta folder from Vista32b to WinXP32b and all downloads show "yellow-black stripes" of insufficient disk space (there's 11GB of free space)
also tried with new instance setup in winXP, happens also with newly added downloads.

you can click resume and it resumes, but once download starts it returns to "insufficient disk space" and freeze

can anyone confirm this ?

Could you check the logs and post them? I don't have WinXP anymore to test it.

ok, have tried it on other drives where it works, so the drive i usually use for mule and others is most probably full of 'sparse' files, even though it shows 11GB

in the logs really is nothing interesting

but, eMule mod of mine(based on official, not messing with the hardcore stuff, merely cosmetics) shows no such trouble

also noticed the ed2kLoader is missing the "check disk space" part in options, any chance something else got lost as well ?

Disk space is checked automatically - at least 5MB or 10% of your drive (whichever is bigger) must be free - maybe that's the reason?

I've uploaded a new version, please try if the download and extraction of the packed update file works for you, the last beta should support that.

You can use
UseSimpleProgress=0/1
in the .ini to get old progress bars.

* mule found new version available
* new emule.zip was downloaded in incoming folder (WHY zipped btw?)
* mule asks whether i want to restart now ... excellent
* after that the zip file gets copied into parrent folder and get's RENAMED(not unzipped) to emule.exe
* after manually renaming the exe to zip i extracted emule.exe and started mule, but the zip in incoming folder is still there, shared

GREAT, saved my sanity, for now atleast , now perhaps, i can eventually uninstall M$VS

only that ed2kpref.ini does not write down the string by itself, just reads it
IMHO i think that way of the official, with it's "somewhere" documented but not present extended ini strings is not wise to follow
